ROGER C. LIPITZ is the managing member of Ocean Assets LLC. Mr. Lipitz is a former chairman of the board of the Baltimore Development Corporation and of the University of Maryland Medical System. He also chaired the board of Meridian Healthcare, the largest provider of long-term care services in Maryland. He is a past president of the American Health Care Association, the largest nursing home association in the U.S., and also served as president of the Maryland Nursing Home Association. Mr. Lipitz is a past chair of the Alexis de Toqueville Society for the United Way of Central Maryland. He is a past board member, executive committee member, and campaign chair for The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hospice of Naples in Naples, Florida. He is a trustee of the Johns Hopkins University and chair of the Health Advisory Board at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He also chairs the School's fundraising campaign.
