NANCY KRIEGER EDDY is manager for research and development, Global Personal Health at Procter & Gamble. After earning her doctor of philosophy in immunology from Ohio State University, Dr. Eddy joined Procter & Gamble in 1984 in the Immunology Section, Corporate Research and Development. She worked in a variety of human safety roles before moving to P&G Pharmaceuticals in 1993 to manage the Discovery organization. She later held leadership roles in early and new drug development. Dr. Eddy was appointed manager for research and development, Global Personal Health in June 2005. She leads research, technology and product innovation for a wide range of consumer health products worldwide. Dr. Eddy is on the Board of Trustees for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and is a founding member of the Greater Cincinnati United Way Women’s Leadership Initiative. |
