MANUEL DUPKIN II is former president and chairman of the board of Johnston Laboratories, Inc., now a subsidiary of BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company). He is an emeritus trustee of the Johns Hopkins University Board of Trustees and the boards of Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Health System. He also serves, or has recently served, as a board member of many other organizations, including the Rothschild Company, Sinai Hospital, the National Council of the Salk Institute and the Dome Corporation. Mr. Dupkin graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1946. He served as a naval officer and as special assistant to the chair of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission.
