THOMAS J. DEROSA is the former vice chairman of The Rouse Company’s Board of Directors. Mr. DeRosa received a bachelor of science from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 1980 and a master of business administration from Columbia Business School in 1988. Mr. DeRosa joined The Rouse Company in September 2002. Previously, he was global co-head of Deutsche Bank’s Health Care Investment Banking Group based in London. He joined Alex. Brown & Sons (Deutsche Bank AG) in Baltimore in 1992 as a vice president in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group and was named managing director in 1996. Mr. DeRosa is a member of the Board of Directors of Health Care REIT, Inc., Value Retail PLC. and Tri-US LLC. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Georgetown University and the Board of Visitors of Georgetown University Medical School.
