Alpha Xi Delta and Autism Speaks
Above, Alpha Xi Delta guests display candy DNA helixes that they constructed while learning about autism genetics. Joining them are Wendy Klag Center director M. Daniele Fallin (far right) and Christine Ladd-Acosta (third from right).
In July 2014, the Wendy Klag Center presented a public health overview to Alpha Xi Delta sorority leaders from around the United States who came to Baltimore as part of Autism Speaks' autism immersion training. Alpha Xi Delta has chosen Autism Speaks as its national philanthropy, and these campus leaders came to learn about the autism and genetics; services and policies; and global research.
