Dr. Kimberly Gudzune Wins Clinician Scientist Award

Dr. GudzuneWelch Center associate faculty member Kimberly Gudzune, MD, MPH has won a JHU School of Medicine Clinician Scientist Career Development Award to support her research project "Reducing obesity among public housing residents: an ecological approach." Awardees are determined by a competitive application process.

The award is designed to provide salary and benefit support to allow the young faculty physician to devote up to 75% effort to the development of her research career. The funding is granted for a one-year period and may be eligible for renewal for a second year.
