Welch Center core faculty member Cheryl Anderson, PhD, MPH, MS, has been awarded a JHU Bloomberg School of Public Health Faculty Innovation Award to further her research into “Tests of a New Biomarker for High Fructose Corn Syrup Intake in Humans.” Dr. Anderson's primary appointment is in the Department of Epidemiology in the Bloomberg School.
The Faculty Innovation Fund supports research of tenure-track, assistant professors with a primary appointment in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. The goal of the fund is to stimulate innovative research that will strengthen faculty members’ ability to compete for extramural funding. Awards can be used to purchase equipment, supplies, pay student salaries, and support other research needs.
Congratulations, Dr. Anderson, on this vote of confidence from your colleagues!
