If you are not a student enrolled in a degree program at Johns Hopkins but want to apply for a Certificate, welcome! The only requirement is that you have an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university. This will enable you to be admitted to the School as a special student regular through the Health Policy and Management department.
If you have experience in epidemiology, toxicology, and biostatistics, then you can seek permission to waive the requirement to enroll in Principles of Epidemiology, Introduction to Biostatistics, and Principles of Toxicology, thereby enrolling as a special student-limited.
You should formally apply for the Certificate no later than the first week of the term in which the final course is offered. Your application must include a recent copy of your transcript and a general information form provided by the Institute.
If you are in a masters or doctoral program at the School, you are welcome to enroll in the Certificate Program as part of your training. You should formally apply for the Certificate no later than the first week of the term in which the final course in the Certificate Program is offered.
