Dr. Jenny K. Rinehart is a postdoctoral fellow in Prevention Science in the Department of Mental Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Rinehart studies the prevention of sexual harm across the lifespan. Specifically, her researchers focuses on three topics: (1) the study of specific cognitive processes underlying college women’s sexual victimization, with the goal of developing effective sexual assault prevention programming; (2) the study of the situational factors and cognitive processes surrounding the sexual victimization of adolescents; and (3) the development and dissemination of successful interventions designed at preventing child sexual abuse.
