Richele Benevent, M.S., is a Senior Programmer/Analyst in the Custom Services - Health Outcomes group at Truven Health Analytics. Ms. Benevent has over 7 years of experience analyzing health care data from a variety of sources (clinical trials, medical records, surveys, US and international claims databases) to inform researchers in government, academic and industry settings. Ms. Benevent is responsible for providing database management and SAS/STATA programming on multiple projects. She utilizes these databases to create comprehensive reports and metrics. In addition she works with lead statisticians to develop and implement statistical tests and methodologies, including most recently, generalized linear mixed models, longitudinal fixed effect models, and propensity score matching. Ms. Benevent holds a MS in Statistics from Oregon State University. She also received a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Rachel Henke, PhD

Rachel Henke, PhD, is a Director of Research at Truven Health Analytics. Dr. Henke has a background in quantitative and qualitative evaluations and has authored numerous peer-review publications. Dr. Henke conducts evaluations of employer health and productivity programs and led the development of the evaluation design for the multi-site Federal Employee Worksite Health and Wellness Initiative. She also has expertise in patient-centered medical home, payment reform, and quality improvement. Dr. Henke completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School and has a PhD in Health Policy from Harvard University. She received her B.A. in biology from Haverford College.

 

Andriana Hohlbauch, MPH

Andriana Hohlbauch, M.P.H., is a Research Leader at Truven Health Analytics. In her current role, she manages multiple studies both for content & day-to-day operations, directly interfacing between clients and staff. Current work is on a multi-year Medicare Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) evaluation project funded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services; provides qualitative research support and team leadership to evaluate the ACO learning system, prepares materials and conducts on-site case studies of the ACOs that include physician and beneficiary small group discussions, conducts quarterly interviews and write up findings, organizes focus groups, for timely and accurate reporting of qualitative and quantitative results. Previous completed work include federal employee worksite wellness program evaluation for the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and US Dept. of Health and Human Services’ Federal Occupational Health (FOH); evaluation of physician coordination and quality of care in the Medicare diabetic population, provider outreach activities for CMS's Low-Vision Rehabilitation Demonstration, and coordination of data intake, integration, quality measurement, and physician reporting for the CMS BQI pilot project.. Prior to joining Truven Health Analytics, Ms. Hohlbauch was involved in health outcomes research, with an emphasis in epidemiological studies, at Cedars-Sinai Health System in Los Angeles, CA. She worked closely with physicians, medical experts (Cochrane advisory group), & hospital research staff to produce systematic reviews of published literature for disease management guidelines & white papers. Also, she was responsible for conducting both patient & physician surveys, and obtained IRB approval for patient-based studies. Ms. Hohlbauch received an M.P.H. degree in Epidemiology from the University of California at Los Angeles, and an M.A. degree in Physiology and Cell Biology and a B.A. degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Amanda Mummert, M.A.

Amanda Mummert, M.A., is a Research Leader at Truven Health Analytics. Ms. Mummert has 10 years of experience conducting health-related qualitative and quantitative research across government, academic, and industry sectors, with an emphasis on maternal and child health, the socio-contextual determinants of health, and opportunities to improve patient well-being through intervention efforts in clinical and workplace settings. She is currently engaged with projects concerning worksite health promotion and the use of quality indicators for evaluating population health. Previous completed work included physician reporting and quality measurement for the CMS Better Quality Information for Medicare Beneficiaries Project, providing technical assistance and data analysis during the implementation of the CMS Cancer Prevention and Treatment Demonstration Project, and conducting literature reviews and writing reports for the AHRQ Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project, among other responsibilities. Ms. Mummert received a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Anthropology from the University of California Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, CA, and a Master’s degree in Anthropology from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the Biological Anthropology program at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.

Kathleen Lane

Kathleen Lane, B.A., is an Analyst within the Federal Government team at Truven Health Analytics in Bethesda, MD. In her current role, Ms. Lane works with Health Risk Assessment Return on Investment (ROI) Model clients providing consultation regarding the utilization of the model and the interpretation of results. Additionally, Ms. Lane supports projects funded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by producing communication materials, developing and delivering trainings, and creating weekly and monthly project management reports. Ms. Lane works with the Institute for Health and Productivity Studies on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Worksite Health ScoreCard Evidence Review and Update project as a Research Analyst. Prior to joining Truven Health, Ms. Lane interned in the Community Health Department at Lancaster General Health (LGH) where she supported public health initiatives within the non-profit health system. Ms. Lane holds a Bachelor’s degree from Franklin & Marshall College in Public Health and Spanish.

Evelyn Tyan

Evelyn Tyan, B.S., is an Analyst within the Federal Division at Truven Health Analytics in Bethesda, MD. Ms. Tyan currently supports the Medicaid and CHIP Business Information Solutions (MACBIS) Education, Training, and Assistance (ETA) contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Ms. Tyan has experience providing technical assistance to both CMS and State users. Specifically, Ms. Tyan provides technical guidance to users of the new Medicaid and CHIP Program (MACPro), the interim Medicaid Model Data Lab (MMDL), and the Waiver Management System (WMS). Prior to joining Truven Health, Ms. Tyan interned with the Renal-Electrolyte Division of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where she assisted on financial, legal, project management, and general administrative projects. Ms. Tyan graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Health Policy and Administration with a concentration in Information Sciences and Technology and a minor in Labor Studies and Employment Relations.
