The aim of this project was to evaluate the evidence base for palliative care assessment tools. Based on a conceptual framework and evidence map, this project summarizes the evidence for use of palliative care assessment tools for three purposes: (i) palliative and hospice care clinical practice, (ii) quality measurement, and (iii) evaluation of palliative care interventions.
