About Us

The Johns Hopkins Center for STD Research, Prevention and Training is housed at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) in partnership with the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Directed by Jonathan Zenilman, MD, the Center brings together students and investigators from multiple Johns Hopkins schools and departments. Center research includes basic science, clinical and behavioral research, clinical trials and epidemiological studies. Faculty at the Center are well established in their fields and provide mentoring in the behavioral sciences, epidemiology, clinical medicine and molecular biology. Students have opportunities to work with Center faculty in academic and professional settings. Some students affiliated with the Center are supported by the Johns Hopkins Training Program in Sexually Transmitted Infections (T32- AI050056) predoctoral and postdoctoral fellowships.
