Research

The Center for Human Nutrition was created to integrate and expand the burgeoning academic research activities in human nutrition at the Johns Hopkins schools of Public Health and Medicine. We offer a multidisciplinary educational program in laboratory, clinical and public health nutrition, and we conduct research that will increase our understanding of the role of nutrition in health and disease. We also aim to develop new ways to apply that knowledge to improve the health of specific populations and work worldwide with a variety of institutions and communities to accomplish these goals.

Highlights

The Thai princess visits the JiVitA project in Bangladesh
HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand, who is visiting Bangladesh as a member of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's International Health Advisory Board, will see the life of rural women and the work of the JiVitA project.
