AMHR currently receives support from many different sources. These include individual implementing partners who contract AMHR to support work on individual projects. Recent funding under this category has come from NGOs such as World Vision, International Medical Corps, Catholic Relief Services, the International Rescue Committee, and War Child.
Another major source is the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), particularly The Victims of Torture Fund (VTF). The focus of AMHR's work for VTF is on improving the planning, monitoring and evaluation of psychosocial interventions among torture-affected populations. AMHR works closely with VTF grantees to improve their design, monitoring and evaluation capacity through training and technical assistance through collaboration on new and ongoing humanitarian and service programs.
