While the Center for Refugee and Disaster Response prefers to work in partnership with other agencies and organizations, consulting on refugee issues are provided for: Designing research studies to monitor or evaluate preparedness, development or emergency response activities Providing direct emergency health care and public health services in emergency settings Rapid assessing of health care needs in populations affected by disaster or conflict Setting up surveillance systems in support of relief efforts or of the development of health care systems Assisting in health care system and emergency preparedness planning and development Providing training to medical, nursing, and community-health staff, with a particular focus on emergency health and public health care services
