What is our mission?
The Center for Refugee and Disaster Response promotes excellence in humanitarian and emergency assistance through research, education and field programs around the world.

Who are our typical clients?
National governments, ministries of health, international aid and development organizations, national non-governmental organizations, united nations organizations

What services do we offer?
While the Center for Refugee and Disaster Response prefers to work in partnership with other agencies and organizations, consulting on refugee issues are provided for: 

  • Designing research studies to monitor or evaluate preparedness, development or emergency response activities
  • Providing direct emergency health care and public health services in emergency settings
  • Rapid assessing of health care needs in populations affected by disaster or conflict
  • Setting up surveillance systems in support of relief efforts or of the development of health care systems
  • Assisting in health care system and emergency preparedness planning and development
  • Providing training to medical, nursing, and community-health staff, with a particular focus on emergency health and public health care services

Full professors; associate/assistant professors; research associates; MPH and PhD/DrPh candidates
