Teen Perspective

The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is working with WMAR-TV, ABC2 in Baltimore and the Urban Leadership Institute to develop Teen Perspective, a series of televised town hall discussions with teens that explore public health issues facing young people. The series was developed by Philip Leaf, PhD, professor in the Department of Mental Health at the Bloomberg School and Director of the Center for Youth Violence Prevention, with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Maryland Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention.

The latest episode on teens and gangs aired Saturday, Oct. 28 at 11 a.m.

For more information about Teen Perspective, to suggest a topic, or to obtain a DVD copy of the program, please contact Philip Leaf at 410-955-3962 or pleaf@jhsph.edu.
