Lt. Governor Townsend to Discuss Health Care Plans for Maryland

Lieutenant Governor Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, the Democratic nominee for Governor of Maryland, will speak at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health on Thursday, October 3, about her plans for health care in Maryland. The event is sponsored by the School’s Department of Health Policy and Management and will be held from 12:05 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. in the East Wing Auditorium.

Thomas Burke, PhD, professor of health policy and management, and Daniel Morhaim, MD , an associate in health policy and management and State Delegate from Baltimore County, will introduce Lieutenant Governor Townsend and moderate the discussion following her presentation.

Congressman Robert Ehrlich, the Republican nominee for Governor, spoke to the School on September 20, 2002.
