Bloomberg School Recognized for Malaria Education

The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health received two awards from the Malaria Foundation International. “Educational Document of the Year” recognized the online Malariology course developed by the School’s Malaria Research Institute. The Bloomberg School was also recognized as “University Leader of the Year” for its expanding educational role as a leader in the fight against malaria.

Malaria Foundation International was founded in 1992 to fight malaria by supporting awareness, education, training, research and leadership programs. The Malaria Awards were established to honor the many extraordinary individuals and organizations that have made and continue to make important contributions in the fight against malaria.

A compete list of honorees is available at www.malaria.org.
