In addition, McGready received the Golden Apple, an annual teaching award voted on by Bloomberg School students, in 2001 and 2004.

Excellence in Online Teaching Award winners are selected each year by students enrolled in online courses at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. The students are asked to nominate teachers and assistants who make online learning more effective, intellectually stimulating and enjoyable.

The Center for Teaching and Learning with Technology, formerly known as Distance Education, combines technology and instructional design to help faculty teach and students learn in both online communities and classroom settings.--Kenna Lowe
