Hampton House Outpatient Clinic

CIR’s outpatient clinic facility is located on the first floor of the Hampton House on the Hopkins East Baltimore Medical Campus. The Hampton House is on the corner of East Monument Street and North Broadway, just north of the Outpatient Center of the Johns Hopkins Hospital and caddy corner to Kennedy Kreiger.

Metro Subway

  • Take the Johns Hopkins Hospital (Monument Street) Exit.
  • Cross Monument Street.
  • The green awning of the Hampton House is straight ahead.

From Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Baltimore-Washington International Airport

  • Take I-95 North to Exit 53 (I-395 North) into Baltimore. (Note: Do not take the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. fork of the exit).
  • Turn right on Pratt Street (by the Baltimore Convention Center).
  • Stay on Pratt for 1.4 miles to Broadway; turn left on Broadway.
  • Turn left onto Orleans Street. Go one block to N. Caroline Street and turn right.
  • Follow the signs to patient parking. The entrance to the garage is on McElderry Street on the right.
  • Walk up the breezeway between the Outpatient Center and Reed Hall.
  • Turn left on Broadway. The green awning of the Hampton House is straight ahead.

From Northeastern Baltimore Suburbs, Philadelphia, and New York

  • Take I-95 South toward Baltimore to Exit 57 (Boston Street and O'Donnell Street).
  • Proceed on Boston Street approximately two miles and turn left on Fleet Street.
  • Follow Fleet Street to Broadway; turn right on Broadway.
  • Turn left on Orleans Street.
  • Go one block to N. Caroline Street and turn right.
  • Follow the signs to patient parking. The entrance to the garage is on McElderry Street on the right.
  • Walk up the breezeway between the Outpatient Center and Reed Hall.
  • Turn left on Broadway. The green awning of the Hampton House is straight ahead.

From Northern Baltimore Suburbs, York, and Central Pennsylvania

  • Take I-83 South (Harrisburg Expressway) into Baltimore (Note: I-83 becomes the Jones Falls Expressway as you approach Baltimore).
  • Exit at Fayette Street and turn left.
  • Follow Fayette toward the medical campus to Broadway and turn left.
  • Turn left onto Orleans Street.
  • Go one block to N. Caroline Street and turn right.
  • Follow the signs to patient parking. The entrance to the garage is on McElderry Street on the right.
  • Walk up the breezeway between the Outpatient Center and Reed Hall.

Washington DC Outpatient Clinic

We highly recommend taking the DC Metro. If you prefer to drive, metered parking is available on the street.

  • Take the Metro to the Foggy Bottom stop (Blue/Orange Line). 
  • Exit the Metro station and walk down 23rd Street to F Street.  
  • Turn left on F Street and walk approximately 2 blocks.  
  • The clinic is in the Metropolitan Medical Clinic building.

Bayview Inpatient Unit

The inpatient isolation unit is located in the Mason F. Lord building of the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Campus.

From Points South

  • Take I-295 north to the Harbor Tunnel Thruway (I-895).
  • After exiting the tunnel, take exit 12, Lombard Street. At the first stop light, proceed straight onto Bayview Boulevard.

or

  • Take I-95 through the Fort McHenry Tunnel to exit 59 (Eastern Avenue).
  • Turn left onto Eastern Avenue and proceed approximately one mile to Bayview Boulevard on the right.

From Points North and East

  • Take I-95 south to exit 59 (Eastern Avenue).
  • Turn right onto Eastern Avenue (west) and proceed approximately one mile to Bayview Boulevard on the right.

or

  • Take I-895 south to exit 12, Lombard Street.
  • At the first stop light, turn right onto Bayview Boulevard.
