Workshop on Multilevel Modeling in Mplus: Video and Handouts available at www.statmodel.com March 17, 18, 2005 Instructor: Bengt Muthen, UCLA Hosted by the Johns Hopkins Center for Prevention and Early Intervention and the Departments of Mental Health and Biostatistics Two one-day, no-cost training sessions will be given at the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD on March 17 and 18, 2005. The topics include growth and growth mixture modeling (2- and 3-level modeling), multilevel factor analysis, multilevel structural equation modeling, and multilevel latent class modeling. Location Alumni Auditorium in the School of Nursing. Prerequisites: Intermediate understanding of multilevel modeling or latent variable structural equation modeling. Course Information Morning session: 8:30-12:30 (15 minutes break at 10:00) Lunch: 12:30-2:00 Afternoon session: 2:00 – 5:30 (15 minutes break at 3:00) Topics for March 17: Introductory growth modeling

We are no longer accepting registrations. Travel reimbursement scholarships of up to $500 will be offered to a limited number of early career intervention scientists (advanced graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and junior faculty members) who lack the travel resources to attend the workshop. Registrations and travel reimbursement scholarships will be accepted starting January 18 at 8 am EST. There is a hospital restaurant and cafeteria located near Hurd Hall (link to dining services- http://www.hopkinshospital.org/patients/dining.html). Hotel Information Listed Below is the information for 3 hotels located near the JHU campus. You will have to pay for your transportation to the JHU campus (walk or get a cab). When you call for reservations be sure to tell them you are attending a Hopkins event so that you get the Hopkins rate.
