Preparedness Tips

The Johns Hopkins Center for Public Health Preparedness is committed to the development of training programs to assist the public health workforce in appropriate and effective responses to bioterrorism and other emerging health threats. Additionally, the Center recognizes the importance of providing the general public with related information to establish a basic level of preparedness understanding to better prepare for threats and emergencies in the home, at work and while traveling.

Here you will find some general information about potential threats, ways you and your family can prepare and links to additional resources.

You should be able to survive on your own for at least 3 days after an incident.
