The Administrative Core

Overview/Tasks

The Administrative Core serves the following key functions towards assuring the success of the Center’s research:

  • Provide overall Center administration and management;
  • Serve as the focal point for interactions among the researchers in the Center’s three research Projects;
  • Through its Executive Committee, evaluate progress on the Center’s research agenda and redirect research as evidence becomes available across the planned three-phase program;
  • Coordinate and track all activities of the Quality Management Plan for the Center;
  • Establish and implement a dissemination plan for the Center’s research findings and other activities;
  • Identify members and convene annually a Science Advisory Committee;
  • Serve as the focal point for communications with other PM Centers and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Program Manager:      Debra Moffitt, MS, trained in environmental sciences, grant and project management

Editorial Associate:     Charlotte Gerczak, MLA, handles publications, presentations and editorial needs

Financial:                    Rochelle Smith provides additional financial oversight for the Center budget

Additional specialized staff for administrative and logistical assistance.
