Brown Bag Series
One of the challenges that we all face is keeping up with the various changes in policies and procedures. The Office of Research Administration recognizes that fact and in its role as an information resource, has developed an informal means of disseminating new information. These “Brown Bag” sessions are facilitated by ORA staff; however, departmental, school and central administration experts are invited to present various topics. Previous presenters have included the Senior Associate Dean for Finance and Administration, the Director of Human Resources, the Director of Cost/Research Accounting and many departmental administrative staff members. This forum is excellent for posing those questions that everyone wants to know but is afraid to ask. Additionally, the relaxed atmosphere is great for networking.
