Steps in the funding process - Application forms
- Supporting documentation - Read your program announcement carefully for all requested supporting documentation. Be sure to allow sufficient processing time when requesting information from external sources. Examples of supporting documentation include:
- Reference letters
- Transcripts
- Institutional Review Board compliance: ALL proposed research involving human subjects requires all personnel associated with the project to be certified via the successful completion of the CITI online human subjects training module . An approved protocol MUST be obtained prior to contact with humans.
- Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)Compliance: All animal users MUST be registered with the Animal Surveillance Program in Occupational Health Services. An approved protocol MUST be obtained before animals can be purchased. Questions involving submissions of protocols to the IACUC should be addressed to the IACUC at (443) 287-3738. An online training module MUST be completed by all animal users.
