Effective July 1, 2010, all JHSPH Full-time On-campus students will be charged an annual health services fee of $450.00. This fee is billed to every full-time student regardless of whether they have purchased the Student Health Plan (SHP) and is required for students who have purchased a comparable external health insurance plan.
The fee grants all full-time students access to the on-campus University Health Services Clinic and access is no longer restricted to only those students who had purchased the Student Health Plan. The UHS Clinic provides general Primary Care services for students and you can access more information on their website at http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/uhs/index.html
Access to UHS services ceases on the date of the one year anniversary of payment of the Health Fee. JHSPH students should begin to make arrangements to establish with a non-UHS provider at least 90 days prior to the anniversary. Participants in COBRA Student Health Program are not eligible to use UHS services.
