Recommended Financial Aid Filing Dates

Here is some information on recommended filing dates for financial aid applications.

New Students – March 15

The recommended filing date for the FAFSA and Public Health Federal Student Aid Application is March 15.

Applications for financial aid are processed on a rolling basis. However, the availability of Federal Perkins Loans and Federal Work-Study funding is limited so applicants should file on time. Filing by the recommended filing date also enables a prospective student to receive a notification of eligibility for federal aid prior to making a commitment regarding enrollment.  Please note we cannot package students for financial aid until they are fully accepted into their academic program.

Returning Students – May 1

A returning student should file both the FAFSA and Public Health Federal Student Aid Application by the recommended date in order to receive a maximum award. The recommended filing date for returning or continuing students is May 1.
