Involvement Opportunities:
- Work with hospice patients and families in the home setting and in long-term care facilities.
- Volunteers are assigned to families close to their own homes. Hospice volunteering is one of the most rewarding ways for an individual to work within the community. Volunteers provide much-needed respite to family caregivers of home bound terminally ill patients. Compassionate volunteers provide companionship, a listening ear, and a loving heart to terminally ill patients.
Volunteers are also needed in the office to assist the Bereavement Coordinator.
