Henderson-Hopkins School Seeks Reading and Math Listeners – Great Flexibility

Monday thru Friday

The new Henderson-Hopkins School is seeking Reading and Math Listeners.  No formal instruction
is required.  Children simply need assistance and attention from caring role models.  Help by listening as a
student reads from a lesson books.  Have a student explain a math skill they’ve learned.  The new school
currently has students in kindergarten, 1st grade, and 5th grade.  Some 5th graders are reading way below
their grade level.  Some 1st graders are more advanced.  Times are extremely flexible, Monday through Friday, 9 am – 6 pm.  Simply spend 1 hour per week, or a few hours each month.

To volunteer, contact Tara Hayes, Family Advocate, at 443-642-2060.
