Purpose: To provide salary support for a new investigator to work on PERRC projects who has not yet been involved in Public Health Emergency Preparedness Systems research. The goal is to provide the new investigator with the opportunities to work on research activities with more senior investigators and to offer the research projects the opportunity for "fresh input from younger investigators with more recent training. Funding amount: up to $30,000 Funding period: 12 months from date of award Eligibility: A qualifying individual for the new research investigator has: - completed their training (usually, doctoral level)
- A faculty appointment at Johns Hopkins University
- Not yet received NIH, CDC or equivalent level funding at a Principal Investigator
