Vision

Improve the health of communities through effective leadership.

Mission

Through the development of leadership skills and shared vision, the Institute will facilitate creative, collaborative, integrated, and effective approaches to achieving community health goals.

Objectives

  • Increase knowledge of leadership and community health principles.
  • Facilitate application of this knowledge to individual lives, organizations, and communities.
  • Facilitate transfer of this knowledge from individuals to organizations and communities.
  • Improve individual, organizational, and community effectiveness in improving the health of communities.
  • Build a network of individuals and organizations with shared vision and capacity for improving the health of communities.
