Provides an initial on-site presentation, planning meeting, or training activity for new NNPS district members at no cost. Provides customized technical assistance and on-going, on-call consultations with an NNPS facilitator dedicated to the MCI districts, schools, and bases. Prepares district leaders for partnerships to develop district-level and school-based programs. Works with district leaders for partnerships to conduct One-Day Professional Development Workshop for schools’ Action Teams for Partnerships. Guides districts and schools to involve families and community partners to improve student achievement, attendance, behavior, homework completion, and attitudes about school. Links to other MCI projects, including an online course with a component on family and community involvement and resources to identify effective programs for social and emotional support for children from military families.
