Public Health Training Series in Maryland This session is a part of an 11 session series designed to respond to the work force development needs of Maryland's local health departments. The session on team work was created to increase public health workers team building and maintenance skills, to examine/apply identified skills for effective public health teamwork, and to analyze the significance of teams to effective public health outcomes. In developing this session, the session was linked with the following nationally recognized (by the broader public health community as well as by the Quad Council of Public Health Nursing Organizations) public health core competency domain(s) and skill(s): Cultural Competency Attitudes: Understands forces contributing to cultural diversity
