The Roger C. Lipitz Center for Integrated Health Care and the Eugene and Mildred Lipitz Professorship were created in 1998 through a generous gift from Roger Lipitz through the Lipitz Family Foundation to the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Chad Boult, MD, MPH, MBA, became the Center's first Director and the first Lipitz Professor in 2001. The Lipitz Center, located at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, is committed to improving the health and quality of life for people with complex health care needs by conducting research and disseminating new knowledge. The Center is also committed to preparing the next generation of leaders in this discipline. The Center strives to discover and disseminate practical, cost-effective approaches to providing comprehensive, coordinated, compassionate health care to chronically ill people and their families. The Center's multidisciplinary activities span Johns Hopkins University's Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health.
The Lipitz Center is located on the sixth floor of Hampton House on the East Baltimore medical campus of Johns Hopkins University. More information on location or directions.
