Parking is available in the Caroline Garage, located on the corner of Caroline and Monument (one-way, eastbound) streets on the East Baltimore medical campus of the Johns Hopkins University. The garage is open Mon-Fri from 6 a.m. until midnight. The rate is $2.75 an hour or $10 a day. You can enter the garage from either Monument or McElderry streets. To find the Lipitz Center from the Caroline Garage, walk 1/2 block east on Monument. Turn right on Broadway. The Hampton House is 10 yards ahead on the right side; the entrance door is near the green awning. Take the elevator/stairs to the sixth floor, turn left down the hallway, and look for room 651.

Take I-695 (the Baltimore beltway) to exit 35, Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40). Proceed west along Pulaski Highway and veer right at a Y intersection, onto Orleans Street. Turn right onto Caroline Street. Proceed to Monument Street (one-way eastbound) and turn right. The Caroline Garage is located one-half block up on the right side of Monument Street.

Take I-95 southwest past the I-695 Interchange (the Baltimore beltway). Take I-895 (the Harbor Tunnel thruway), then take the first exit (Downtown/Route 40) to Moravia Road. Turn left at the traffic signal (Moravia Road) and then right at the second exit marked "Pulaski Highway/Route 40." Proceed west along Pulaski Highway and, after traveling about 1.8 miles, veer right at a Y intersection, onto Orleans Street. Turn right onto Caroline Street. Proceed one block and turn right onto Monument Street (one-way eastbound). The Caroline Garage is located one-half block up on the right side of Monument Street.

Take 195 west, then 295 north (also known as the Baltimore-Washington Parkway) into the city. Inside of the city limits, 295 becomes Russell Street (with the Ravens and Oriole stadiums on the right), then becomes Paca Street. Proceed on Paca Street (one-way northbound). Turn right onto Mulberry, which becomes Orleans. Turn left onto Caroline Street. Proceed to Monument Street (one-way eastbound) and turn right. The Caroline Garage is located one-half block up on the right side of Monument Street.

Via I-95 northbound
Approaching Baltimore, take exit 53 (I-395, marked "Downtown/Inner Harbor"). Stay to the right and exit on Conway Street. Stay in the center lane and follow Conway Street to Light Street (third traffic signal). Turn left onto Light Street, staying in the right lane, which will merge with Pratt Street. Follow Pratt Street for approximately one mile. Turn left onto Caroline Street. Proceed through 5 lights (crossing Lombard, Baltimore, Fayette, Orleans and McElderry Streets), and turn right onto Monument Street (one-way eastbound). Exit onto I-695 west (the Baltimore Beltway). Proceed about 6 miles to exit 11-A, I-95 north. Approaching Baltimore, take exit 53 (I-395, marked "Downtown/Inner Harbor"). Take either of the MTA buses numbered 61 or 64 to Baltimore Street. Walk one-half block east to the Charles Street Metro station. Take subway to Johns Hopkins Hospital stop. Follow directions listed below for the metro subway.

A taxi stand is located in front of the train station. Indicate you want to go to the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore Medical Campus. The address for Hampton House is 624 North Broadway. Cab fare is between $7-10.
- Using the Baltimore Metro Subway
The Johns Hopkins Hospital metro stop is the final destination on the southeast end of the subway. After departing the train, take the north exit out of the station. Take the escalator to street level, which will lead you to Broadway Street. Stay on Broadway and cross Monument Street. Hampton House is the first building on the right; enter under the green awning.
