“Principles and Practice of Injury Prevention” can be taken for three academic credits. If the student meets the Johns Hopkins University requirements for academic credit, he or she may take the courses for credit at an additional cost. The University can grant the academic credits to students officially registered at the time of course enrollment. Students must complete course requirements, which include writing a paper under the advisement of Dr. Carolyn Fowler. Retroactive conversion of non-credit to credit is not permitted. The projected Johns Hopkins University academic credit tuition rate for 2012 is $923.00 per credit and is subject to change. A certificate of completion is awarded to all students regardless of whether they take the course for academic credit or non-credit. The certificate will be awarded at the end of the Institute. Students registered as special students limited may accumulate a maximum of 16 credits total. After 16 credits have been earned, application to and acceptance in special student regular or degree status is required. |
