Location and Accommodations

"Principles & Practice of Injury Prevention" will be held at Baltimore's Tremont Grand, which is connected to the Tremont Plaza Hotel. The address for the Tremont Grand is 225 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. It is only a few blocks from Baltimore's Inner Harbor to the south, and a vibrant downtown area to the north.

Where to Stay

Accommodations will be available at the Tremont Plaza Hotel, 222 St. Paul Place, Baltimore, MD 21201. A reduced nightly rate is available to Summer Institute participants. To make a reservation online go to www.tremontplazahotel.com and enter the group code "summer12jh". Reservations can also be made by calling 1-800-TREMONT (1-800-873-6668). Be sure to mention you are attending the Johns Hopkins Summer Institute when you call. The discount will be available until May 13, 2012.

All reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card or first night's room and tax deposit. You will have up to 24 hours prior to the arrival date to cannel your reservation. Reservations that are canceled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival will be charged 100% of the first night's room and tax to the credit card on file or taken from the deposit.

Hotel/housing accommodations and costs are the responsibility of the participant and are not included in the tuition fee.

For participants who prefer to commute to the Summer Institute, off-street parking will be available. Please go to www.tremontplazahotel.com and click the "Directions and Parking" link in the top right corner.

Participants traveling by air should use Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). The drive from BWI to the Tremont Plaza Hotel is approximately 30-40 minutes.
