The School has ten departments, and over 40 centers, institutes, and administrative offices. To maintain consistency among these diverse groups, a system has been developed to allow each department, center, institute and office to be visually tied to the School. By adopting the established visual treatment shown here, each division of the School gains immeasurable equity from the association with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Healthís name. These guidelines were developed with flexibility and usability in mind. Please follow them as closely as possible and contact the Schoolís Office of Communications with any special cases.
|

The name of the department, center, institute or administrative office should align with the left side of the Schoolís name. Whenever possible, the name should appear on one line; two lines maximum.

The name of the department should be typeset in Adobe Garamond Italic when on a light background. When reversing the name out of a color, typeset the name in Adobe Garamond Semibold Italic to ensure legibility. If Adobe Garamond is unavailable on your computer, please typeset the department names in Times Italic.
