Truth is a right. This core belief of the Center translates into an obligation for us to study problems using rigorous scientific methods and to respond with evidence-based approaches.

We are further called to take these findings, whether they reflect success or failure, and to make them available for all. They are to inform future actions, future decisions on resource allocations, and current procedures or policies which may or may not be beneficial to groups they aim to serve.

Respect for the dignity of persons demands that health services and programs be commensurate with the needs of vulnerable populations.
