NIH Clinical Scholars Awards (KL2)

Program Announcements:

The GTPCI became part of the Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) in 2007. Under the current leadership of Edgar Miller, MD, PhD, elements in the TL1/T32, KL2/K12 programs and GTPCI have been fully implemented since receiving our award. ICTR is part of the national Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) consortium created by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to accelerate laboratory discoveries into treatments for patients.

The Johns Hopkins KL2 programs will provide career development support for post-doctoral and a junior faculty physicians or dentists from within Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions or Howard University.

Nominations from mentors or program/divisional directors are due by December 15 of each eligible year for awards to commence July 1 of the same year. Awards will be announced by April 1. Details of the application process will be posted each Fall on this website.
