Course of Study Requirements

SOCI Training Certificate candidates will complete two required and at least two elective courses. For the certificate, the courses are officially taken as “non-credit”, but regular attendance and completion of all coursework is required. The Certificate Program is not open to University degree students. However, with the course director’s approval, degree students can take individual courses as electives for-credit outside of the Certificate.  Also, with appropriate backgrounds as determined by the course director, single courses can be taken without enrolling in the Certificate Program.
