CLF's mission is to promote research and to develop and communicate information about the complex interrelationships among diet, food production, environment and human health; to advance an ecological perspective in reducing threats to the health of the public; and to promote policies that protect health, the global environment and the ability to sustain life for future generations. Johns Hopkins Program on Global Sustainability and Health (PGSH)
PGSH is dedicated to public health research, education, practice and policy as it relates to examination of the drivers, consequences and implications of global environmental change and the challenges and obstacles to achieving a more sustainable future. Students in the MPH, MHS, DrPH and PhD programs are encouraged to participate in the activities of the program. Take Back the Tap (TTBT)
TBTT is a coalition of undergraduates, graduate students, researchers, and staff who are committed to bringing the highest quality of drinking water to Johns Hopkins University and Hospital in a way that is affordable and sustainable. Our primary goal is to drastically reduce the amount of bottled water consumed at Hopkins. We aim to replace bottled water and water coolers with water filtration stations that offer chilled tap water and require little maintenance. Ultimately, we will encourage employees to opt for more sustainable and economical alternatives to bottled water.
