| | | This project proposes to provide research assistance to the Tanzania USAID mission and the Tanzania health and nutrition authorities to: - assess the feasibility of introducing zinc treatment for childhood diarrhea
- advocate the intervention to key national stakeholders
- identify feasible strategies and operational issues for the large-scale adoption of zinc treatment for diarrhea in local health systems and promotion of its use at the household level
- evaluate operational and program effectiveness
