This project brings together centrally funded USAID projects with USAID bilateral projects in Asia and the Near East that focus on maternal and newborn care and family planning in the immediate postpartum period at the community level. The network provides a forum to identify barriers and opportunities, share lessons and identify state-of-the-art approaches and strategies to community-based integrated maternal and newborn care that can inform project design and program implementation. The network also seeks to identify operations research needs to ensure rapid uptake, dissemination and scale-up of evidence-based interventions. Visit MotherNewBorNet for details.
