Global Tobacco Control Leadership Program

Who should apply?

  • Tobacco control professionals and policymakers in developing countries who want to build their tobacco control strategy, leadership and advocacy skills
  • Tobacco control professionals and policymakers from around the world who want the opportunity to become part of a close-knit network of tobacco control professionals working in low and middle income countries

What does the Leadership Program entail?

  • An all expenses paid trip to Baltimore, Marlyand to attend the Global Tobacco Control Leadership Program at the Bloomberg School from July 28, 2008 to August 8, 2008
  • Two-week comprehensive training course in tobacco control taught by internationally renowned faculty
  • A fun weekend getaway in Maryland where participants can relax and network with colleagues
  • Membership in the Global Tobacco Control Leadership Alumni Association, an organization created to enhance future networking and information sharing between international colleagues
