Global Tobacco Control Leadership Program

To apply for the leadership program please download and complete the application form. Completed applications must be received by February 15, 2008.  Applications may be received by email, fax, or mail at the address below:

Selected participants will receive a scholarship that covers economy class air travel, housing and per diem for two weeks and applicable materials for the courses.

Applicants must meet the following program obligations:

  • Applicant fluently speaks, reads, and understands English and is able actively participate in an English-only academic program
  • Applicant will participate in the Global Tobacco Control online training course in advance of the Global Tobacco Control Leadership Program, and will bring printed certificates of completion as evidence of completion to the leadership program
  • Applicant is able to attend the Johns Hopkins Global Tobacco Control Leadership Program (July 28, 2008 to August 8, 2008)
  • Applicant can certify that he/she has never been the recipient of financial support from any tobacco product manufacturer or the parent, subsidiary or affiliate of a tobacco product manufacturer
