Global Tobacco Control Leadership Program

As part of our effort to develop global tobacco control capacity, we are hosting our 3rd Annual Global Tobacco Control Leadership Program from July 21, 2008 to August 1, 2008. We will bring 50 students to Baltimore, Maryland to attend a comprehensive two-week, in-depth research and leadership program taught by internationally renowned experts in tobacco control.  The aim of the program is to:

  • train tobacco control leaders from around the world
  • provide a platform for  in-country professionals to work directly with and learn from international experts
  • provide a platform for increased networking between tobacco control professionals in low and middle income countries

A certificate of participation is awarded at the end of the two-week program, but no academic credit is received for the program.
