Making the Case (2MB)
J. Joseph Speidel, Steven Sinding, Duff Gillespie, Elizabeth Maguire, Margaret Neuse

Report | Brief

In the report Making the Case for U.S. International Family Planning Assistance, five former directors of the Population and Reproductive Health Program of the Agency for International Development (USAID) issue a call for renewed U.S. political and financial commitment to international family planning programs.

The report documents the urgent need for greater U.S. assistance to family planning programs in the developing world which would contribute to international efforts to achieve the global Millennium Development Goal target of universal access to reproductive health services, including family planning, by 2015.
