Travel To/From Abuja

Large carriers such as British Airways, Lufthansa, and KLM fly into Abuja along with domestic airlines from Lagos. If possible, you should avoid Lagos International Airport and fly directly into Abuja International Airport even if means flying through Europe.

Information tables will be set up at Immigration, at Customs and in the main terminal in both the Abuja and Lagos airports beginning Saturday, April 25.

Visas

All visitors are required to have visas except for citizens of states belonging to Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS). Visas can be obtained from Nigerian Embassies. If there is no Nigerian Embassy in the country where you live, you must go to the nearest Nigerian Embassy.

airport transportation

Shuttles will be provided to transport you from the airport to your hotel.

Conference transportation

Shuttle buses will be available to transport guests between their hotels and the conference venue.

Meals

There will be a reception on Sunday evening and lunch and tea breaks will be provided on Monday and Tuesday. All other meals are the responsibility of the participant.

Currency

The currency in Nigeria is the Naira. It is approximately 120 Naira to 1 US dollar.
