Internships

The Gates Institute offers internship opportunities for continuing MHS and doctoral students in the Bloomberg School of Public Health. The goal of the internship program is to provide students with practical experience in the field of population and reproductive health in developing countries. The 3-6 month internship must be conducted at one of the Gates Institute’s collaborating institutions overseas. While priority consideration is given to students in the Population, Family and Reproductive Health Department, students from other Departments in the School who have demonstrated interest in the areas of population, family planning and reproductive health can also apply. About five internships of up to $5000 each are awarded each academic year.
